Retweeting racists is deeply disturbing

President Donald Trump has today retweeted a video in which one of his supporters can be heard shouting “white power”.

Even if this was somehow unintentional (the tweet was subsequently deleted), the damage has been done.

How can the vast majority of Americans trust this president again? Retweeting such appalling content shows, at the very least, a lack of sound judgement and is very much regrettable.

Those who feel offended should make their voices heard in November, when the USA chooses its leader for the next four years.
